NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A SHORELINE

MANAGEMENT ACT

SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that Pioneer Telephone has applied for a Substantial Development Permit for the boring of two 1½ inch fiber optic conduits under the Palouse River in two separate locations. After a 30 day review period, Whitman County can approve and issue the permit on June 26, 2017. The bore locations at both sites will be within 200 feet of the Palouse River which is a shoreline of the state.
