Cool cars, cool weather for 29th Chipman & Taylor show

Despite the less than ideal weather, enthusiasts of all things automotive turned out for Chipman and Taylor Chevrolet’s 29th annual car show last Saturday, May 13.

Some attendees found this year’s cooler temperatures more comfortable than the blazing sunshine of last year’s event.

As usual, the band played, free hot dogs were consumed, exhaust pipes rumbled and even the occasional ahoogah horn sounded.

Trophies were awarded to the top three entries for 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, modified, muscle cars, unrestored original, restored original, custom, pickup, street rod, cranker, under construction, rat rod motorcycle and tractor categories.

The show was set up in the Chipman and Taylor Chevrolet display lot on Bishop Boulevard in Pullman.
