Thrifty Grandmothers donate to The Center

Thrifty Grandmothers donate to The Center Colfax Thrifty Grandmothers Monday presented a check for $5,000 to Whitman County Library staffers Catalina Flores and Shirley Cornelius for the Bettie Steiger Community Enrichment Center at the library.

Their donation leaves only $2,000 more needed to reach the required $33,334 match required to access the Whitman County .09 Economic Development grant the project received last week.
