Local genealogical society wins state award

The Whitman County Genealogical Society’s newsletter was awarded the 2017 Outstanding Communication Award at the Washington State Genealogical Society’s annual meeting in Yakima. The society received a certificate and will have possession of a perpetual Outstanding Communication plaque for the next year.
