Dusty residents attend art opening

A good-sized crowd turned out for the First Friday viewing at Dodson’s Jewelers in Spokane for the opening reception of “Palouse Yearning,” a display of new paintings by Vicki Broeckel.

Attending from the local area were Tom and Doreen Riedner, Janice Pauls, Jan Smith, Sharon Schlomer and Diane Monson. Also at the reception was Cordell Kyllo, son of Whitman County native Harold Kyllo. Broeckel’s paintings will be on display at Dodson’s for the rest of of April.
