Café tries Sunday schedule

LaCrosse Café will be have a trial run Sunday opening Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will serve pork loin with mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, bread, tossed salad and dessert. The grill will also be on.

The café is also partnering with the Council on Aging to provide lunch and fun for residents older than 60. On Tuesdays, lunch will start at noon, and everyone is welcome to stay and play cards, games or simply socialize. There is no cost for the lunch, but the suggested donation is $4.25. Coast Transportation is available for those who need a ride.

The first three Tuesday luncheon dates are March 21, April 4 and April 18.
