New pole at the park

Crew members from Avista prepare to replace a pole at Schmuck Park in Colfax Monday as part of the utility’s wood pole management program. “We get a lot of life out of them,” said Paul Kimmel, Avista regional manager. Some poles are in use for as long as 60 years.
