Garfield Senior Meal

The Garfield Senior Meal will be held at the Garfield American Legion/Grange Hall on Thursday, May 19, at noon. The menu will consist of baked ham, mashed potatoes with country gravy, mixed vegetables, dinner roll with butter and coffee, tea or punch.

Kamiak flower tour

Park board member Doug Flansburg will lead a flower identification walk along the nationally recognized Pine Ridge Trail at Kamiak Butte Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for this event, and participants do not need register. Meet at the Kamiak trailhead across from the restrooms in the lower parking lot.

Pullman LWV

The Pullman League of Women Voters' final brown bag lunch of the year will be on May 19, 12-1 p.m. at Community Congregational Church, 525 NE Campus. Alan Davis, City of Pullman Parks Department, will be speaking about Lawson Gardens improvements. Parking is available next to the church. The public is welcome to attend.

Chapter AF met May 9 at the Courtyard with Robyn Johnson hostess and Diane Solbrack co-hostess. Nineteen members responded to roll call by indicating how they spent Mother's Day weekend.

Those who attended the High Tea at Pomeroy reported on the activities of the day and the ways and means committee discussed ideas for a fund raiser for the upcoming year.

The next meeting will be a social at Sol Vallarta, 6 p.m. May 24.
