Eagle rescue at Hooper

Howard Morris is shown here with the injured young bald eagle he rescued last Thursday near his home in Hooper. Unable to fly, the bird had been seen in the area for several days before it was rescued. The Washington State University Veterinary hospital was called, and they drove to Hooper to get the eagle and take it back to Pullman to treat the injured wing. They named him Morris....
