Wind storm downs lines

Endicott

The wind storm caused a lot of downed trees, and the electricity was cut off at approximately 7 p.m. on Nov. 17. Power was back on by 1 p.m. Nov. 18. A couple of trees were blown over on the Clint and Nadine Rice property next to the sewer plant. The lines went over the main transmission lines that run from Endicott to LaCrosse.

Endicott Gun Club hosted a meat shoot Sunday, Nov. 22. They were busy all week making, smoking and packaging sausage and getting the club house and grounds ready. The parking lot was full and extended over to the school parking lot. There were 86 shoot cards sold. Many breakfasts and lunches were sold. The winners took home a choice of sausage or turkey.
