Veterans assemblies set at Garfield, Colfax

Garfield and Palouse schools will host their annual Veterans Day Assembly in the Garfield middle school gym at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 7. The event honors our veterans and reminds all of our students and families of the great service and sacrifices that these men and women have made.

The assembly will feature the Garfield-Palouse Singers and the Washington State University Madrigals Singers. Chief Warrant Officer 2 Ryan Kennedy will be a special guest speaker, and USAF T Sgt. Susan Cardwell (Ret.) and Cheri Knox (US Army, Ret.) will be the spoeakers.
