Library honors Avista Foundation

Avista Foundation Director Kristi Meyer, (center), and Palouse Region Public Affairs Director Paul Kimmel received the Whitman County Library Supporter of the Month award from library director Kristie Kirkpatrick at the company’s Spokane headquarters.

The foundation recently donated $10,000 to the Bettie Steiger Community Enrichment Center in Colfax to update the building’s Main Street facade.

Additionally, the Foundation has long sponsored library projects ranging from Summer Reading program to funding more open hours in the Malden Library.
