Harp attends session

 


Diane Harp of Tekoa attended the summer institute "Weaving Hope and Concern: Establishing a Foundation to Improve Health & Safety" July 8-11 in Big Sky, Mont.

She learned about positive community norms. The institute class is expected to help the Healthy Tekoa Coalition express concern about the issues Tekoa faces while maintaining a positive, hope-based frame.

Student assistance specialist, Carrie Hubert, who works in Tekoa and Oakesdale schools, received training prior to working in HTC and was instrumental in developing many posters put up in the high school and in the community.
