Engagements

Duane and Deborah Groom of Tekoa announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Becky, to Max Aquino, son of Victor and Mary Aquino of Maple Valley. A 2009 graduate of Tekoa High School, Becky will be graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in teaching at the pre-school level. She currently is employed at The Trike Stop in Edmonds. Aquino is a 2005 graduate of Washington State University whre he earned a degree in electrical engineering. He is currently employed at Crane AeroSpace as a test engineer in Lynnwood. They will be married where they first met, at Camp N Sid Sen on Lake Coeur d'Alene. They plan to make their home in Lynnwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Crayton Oestreich of Harrington announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to Brandon Miller, son of Gary and Sheri Miller of St. John. Now a teacher at Jennings Elementary School in Colfax. Emily graduated from Eastern Washington University with an elementary and special education degree. Brandon graduated from Spokane Community College with a degree in ag business and works on the family farm. An October wedding is planned.
