Endicott logs big Fourth

Endicott had another successful July 4 with a lot of people attending, especially for the fireworks. The hamburgers and sausage dogs were sold out, the pies and ice cream were a hit.

Greg and Lorna Burns spent five days in Yakima attending Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Contributions by members to the many charities and scholarships throughout the year were generous and greatly appreciated.

Spending the July 4 with Greg and Lorna Burns were daughter Stacie Lyman and husband Roger and their daughter Jade.

Sharon Huff flew to North Carolina to see her grand-daughter Katrina Huff graduate from high school. From there the family group: Sharon, son Mike and wife Kathy Huff, grandson Jay and Katrina flew to Puerto Rico for a week trip to celebrate the graduation. They visited El Yunque National Rain Forest, est. in 1903, Fort San Cristobal dating back to the 17th century, enjoyed the scenery, food and ocean.

Dave and Gail Bilow had as guests, over the July fourth weekend, their daughter Stephanie, her husband Jeremy Hajicek and grand-children Cora and Colten from Redmond. The whole group helped with the Endicott 4th celebration.

Ila Stuart motored to Camano Island with her daughter and son-in-law Val and Tim Siler, for the July 4 weekend. They visited with Ila's son, Darrell Brown and his family.

Willard and Anne Lowe hosted grandson Marcus Hill and his wife Jamie of Moscow for the 4th.

Endicott Gun Club is busy getting ready for the Fun Shoot, Saturday, July 12, starting at 9 a.m. A portion of the money raised will be divided between Junior Shooting and the Malden/Pine City Gun Club to help with replacement of shotguns stolen earlier this year.
