Apricots are on at the Warm Springs Ranch orchard. Anyone interested should call Bryan Jones in the evening for cooler picking.

Ed and Joan Broeckel went camping with family and friends over the July 4 weekend at McCall, Idaho.

Doug and Cheryl Stueckle spent the July 4 weekend at the home of his parents, David and Phyllis Stueckle, where they helped with various chores around the farm.

The annual Appel July 4 gathering was held at the Dick and Helen Appel home. Ninety-four guests were present. Those traveling the farthest were Mark and Janet Appel Flutie and six of their children from Danville, Ken. Also coming from some distance was Laurette Appel Terrel from Loveland, Colo.

Last week Tuesday, Di Brink picked up her son Tom Phillips of Las Vegas at the airport for an extended weekend visit. Wednesday, Larry, Di and Tom drove to Kennewick to visit Kevin and Amber Brink and Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick. Thursday, Don and Carol Keeney and Mike Stine, LaCrosse, were supper guests. Friday, the Kevin Brink family arrived at noon and Lucky and Joan Myrick joined them for supper. Saturday, the gathering included Larry, Di and Tom, the Kevin Brinks, the Myricks, the Keeneys and Mike Stine and John, Branki and Myla Brink of Colton. Phillips returned to his home Sunday.

Art and Colene Sager spent the weekend in Valleyford at the home of Don and Gaylene Manning. Blake and Marcy Sager and family and Othelo and Julie Quilang from Colfax joined the farewell gathering before the Mannings move to LaPine, Ore.
