Baccalaureate service conducted for seniors

Rosalia

Rosalia High School class of 2014 baccalaureate ceremony was June 4 at the Rosalia United Methodist Church. Class President Ryan Maley opened the ceremony and introduced Pastor Steward Nereim for the invocation.

Seniors Clay Shelton, Mackenzie Reddish, Madeline Shrode and Steven Maley participated with scripture readings. The baccalaureate message was delivered by Pastor Naomi Calkins-Golter. Both pastors spoke of blessings that the seniors have been given and that God is always with you in life. This was followed by a prayer for the graduating class by Leslie Gunnels. The program concluded with a hymn and benediction by retired art teacher Fern Feenan which ended with a big "Woo-hoo!"
