St. John Art Walk

St. John

Students in St. John/Endicott art classes will present an Art Walk Night April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the St. John High School gym. An added feature this year will be "Village of St. John," a student manned housing development featuring house models made by students from tag board, masking tape and glue guns. Designs include an old-fashioned house, a futuristic house and even a tree house.

Paintings from the year's work will be showcased against a background of student chosen themes. Booths will be judged for creativity, neatness and originality.

Red T-shirts with white lettering will be on sale for $10. Flying Eagles Relay for Life team will meet April 10 at the St. John Inn at 12:30. Members are needed for the team, the cost is $10 per person. The walk will be Saturday, July 12, from noon to midnight. Please contact Donna Bly for more information and to join.

Volunteers are needed in the floral department for the St. John Stock Show Fair April 24-27. Call Kay Smith to volunteer.

St. John 4H and FFA will sell their animals at Spokane. Contact Mac Mills for more informaton. To support the kids without buying an animal, send a donation to Mills.

The annual reunion for all Sunset residents, past and present, has been set for Sunday, July 13, at the Harvester Restaurant in Spangle. A buffet will be served. For additional information contact Joan Williams in St. John.
