It is estimated that Washington territory has 6,000,000 acres of land peculiarly adapted to raising wheat and which will produce from 30 to 40 bushels per acre every season. Oregon also has millions of such acres, and in a few years many more thousands of these millions of acres than are now producing in both state and territory will be under cultivation.
