Hooper residents earn fair honors with goats

Abby, Genevieve, Lillian and Olivia McGregor competed in the Palouse Empire Fair this past week. Abby and Genevieve both showed market steers and received blue ribbons in both market and fitting and showing classes. Olivia took a heifer calf and competed in the PeeWee CowPokes class. Lillian showed two of her goats and was awarded Grand Champion Nigerian Dwarf, Grand Champion Milking Doe, Reserve Champion Overall Doe, Reserve Champion Primary Fitting and Showing and third place in the costume contest where she and her goat where a princess and a knight.
