Pfaff, new coach lead young Gar-Pal volleyball team

After a scheduling mix-up forced cancellation of their opening match at Dayton Monday night, the Gar-Pal volleyball team opened their season at home vs. Colton Tuesday.

“We’re going straight into the fire,” said first-year Gar-Pal head coach Brad Rader.

An assistant for the team three years ago, Rader takes over this year for Amy Heuser.

He brings back one returning starter from last year’s team, which lost in the second round of the district tournament to Liberty Christian.
