Harvest helpers come to Dusty

Dusty

Alex Urtaza and Renee Crocker left Friday for their home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, after spending two weeks at the home of Bryan Jones. Alex, who is Bryan’s cousin, drove truck during harvest and helped with haying. Renee was able to drive truck when needed, herd cows, mow lawns and sell peaches.

Delft-Hale peaches are on at Warm Springs Ranch orchard along the Snake River. Call Bryan Jones for an appointment to pick.

Visiting Harm and Jan Smith during harvest was Gina and Jason Morgan and Micah and Walt Smith and friend James Aigner.

Steve and Becky Camp’s son Tony, his wife Toni and granddaughter eight year old Jordan, Kirkland, spent 10 days helping with harvest. One day, the “girls” had a day to themselves in Lewiston where they had lunch and swam in Becky’s brother’s swimming pool.

Joan and Lucky Myrick attended the high school graduation of their granddaughter Deanna Myrick, daughter of Rich Myrick, on the Pacific Lutheran University campus. They picked up their son Rich in Moses Lake and grandson Robbie in Kent and spent the night at the home of Mike Myrick and Rhonda in Tacoma. The following weekend was spent with their jewelry booth at a Flea Market/Arts and Crafts event in Lewiston. Larry and Di Brink and their grandchildren Ashley and Kloey joined them for awhile and took in the vendor booths that Sunday.

David and Phyllis Stueckle joined about 50 people at the annual Penawawa Reunion picnic at Warm Springs Ranch orchard last Saturday.

Art and Colene Sager and daughter Galene Manning of Valleyford attended the Sager Family reunion in Nampa, Idaho, last weekend. The reunion for the descendants of Art’s paternal grandparents brought 110 Sagers for the two day event.
