Toe-tapping tunes and tasty treats

The annual Palouse Ice Cream Social brought a crowd to the city park in Palouse Sunday. The event raised approximately $400 for the Palouse Community Center’s general fund, according to organizer Crystal Bailey. In order: A vast pie selection brought by the Xenodican and Round Table Clubs is laid out; Lauren Flansburg enjoys a chocolate ice cream cone; Auf Gehtz German Band plays for the crowd; Jens Hegg performs acoustic folk and blues.
