COCC honors Fisch

Samuel Fisch, a graduate of Garfield-Palouse High School, won the Avon F. Mayfield Award at the Central Oregon Community College in Bend. The award recognizes scholarship, leadership, citizenship and service,

Fisch earned an associate of arts Oregon transfer degree with a 3.86 grade-point average. He will attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to work on his bachelor’s degree in fine arts with the goal of becoming a professional studio artist and teaching painting.
