LaCrosse – 10:30 a.m. – Learn how the honey guide bird and the honey badger work as a team when in search for honey. Rosalia – 1 p.m. – Create willows out of cotton swabs and tree branches. Colfax – 6 p.m. – Free yoga lcass from Dawn Bennett of Studio Bliss.

Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Discover Earth’s underground hidden treasures.

Saturday, June 29

Albion – 2 p.m. – Children are invited to dig into the past.

Monday, July 1

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Make your very own fossil to take home. St. John – 11:30 a.m. – Lapsit Fun for the 3 and under crowd.

Tuesday, July 2

Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Learn about caves and who explores them. Tekoa – 10:30 a.m. – Judi Grey from Whitman Recycling teaches how worms help in composting and recycling. Endicott – 11 a.m. – Let’s Rock Out for Summer Reading.

Wednesday, July 3

Garfield & Oakesdale – Dig in the dirt and discover worms with Judi Grey. Learn how worms help in composting and recycling. Check the calendar for times. St. John – 1 p.m. – Children discover what burrows beneath the ground. Malden – 2 p.m. – All about pirates with a treasure hunt. Colfax – 3:30 p.m. – Summer Dance classes for children ages 3-18. All branches of Whitman County Library closed for Independence Day. Many services will still be available through the library’s website.
