Seattle book club marks Dusty stay

Dusty

A women’s book club from Seattle spent Monday through Wednesday last week at the Parsonage Bed and Breakfast here. While in the area, they toured Colfax, Palouse and Pullman.

Saturday, Di Brink took her brother, Mike Stine, and Norma Gibson to Cheney where they participated in the Special Olympics track event at Eastern Washington State University. They both performed well in the shot put, 50 meter and the 100 meter walking events.

Linda Hennigar spent Wednesday through Friday in the Tri-Cities with her daughter’s family, Tami and Jay Banks and Wesley. She attended two of Wesley’s baseball games. One game was through the Cal Ripkin baseball league and the other was for his school, Desert Hill Middle School.

Elaine Stueckle Hogan joined Hennigar at the school game so the two cousins could catch up with each other’s news while watching the game.
