Fund started for Startin infant

The daughter born to Buggy and Chelsey Startin March 7, seven weeks before her due date, is in the neo intensive care unit at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Named Hudson Jade, she is reported to be doing very well. Her projected release date will be right around her original due date.

Her parents are staying close by in a hotel in order to visit as much as possible. A medical fund has been established at Sterling Bank in order to help out the family with the medical expenses not covered by insurance. Donations can be made at any branch of Sterling Bank.

The Winter Sports Awards were presented last Tuesday evening in Washtucna. The following awards were given by the coaches and booster club:

Tigercat Booster Club Free Throw award, Lindsey Miller, 50 percent; Justin Wargo, 74 percent; Impact Player of the Year, Jed Zimmer; 6th Man, Matt Stubbs; Coaches awards, Justin Wargo and Amber Dainty; Mr. Tigercat, Jared Stark; Most Improved, Ashtyn Aune; Most Inspirational, Amber Dainty; Positive Attitude award, Breaze Wolfe; Cheerleader captain’s award, Shayla Sisk.
