Over 100 descendants of Anna and George Pittmann’s 10 children gathered in the Oakesdale park on Saturday, July 9, for a family reunion and picnic. Margie Anderson, 98, Potlatch, and LaVerne Pittmann, 90, Oakesdale, were the two of Anna and George’s children in attendance. Lewis Pittmann, 91, was unable to attend.

The Jim Pittmann family organized the get together.

Oakesdale Class of 66 had their 45-year class reunion Saturday with 14 classmates and their spouses gathering at Art and Sue Dorval’s home in the Spokane Valley.

They re-convened Sunday at Larry and Linda Hoffman’s home in west Spokane for a catered luncheon.

Attending were Art and Sue Dorval, Spokane; Larry and Linda Hoffman, Spokane; Nadine (Henderson) and Ray Smith, Spokane; Rick and Jana Robinson, Albany, CA .; Dorothy (Holloway) Nilles, Leavenworth; Jan (Bennett) and Jim Roberts, Palouse; Greg and Sherry Partch, Garfield; Sharon (Hawk) and Fred Williams, Spokane; Dianne (Ripley) Bogenreif, Spokane; Priscilla (Reel) Peterson, Sherwood, Ore .; Judy (Abbott) and Harry Howe, Fountain Hill, Ariz .; Dennis and Carol (Gardner) Pittmann, Oakesdale; and Tom and Sally Wendover, Bellingham.

Oakesdale Presbyterian Church will have a barbecue at the Oakesdale Park Sunday, July 12, beginning at noon. Everyone is welcome.

The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert.
