Roper birthday fete slated at Oakesdale

Everyone is welcome to attend an 82nd birthday party for Wanda Roper at the Fire Station in Oakesdale, Sunday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. The event is hosted by her children and grandchildren.

Local Boy Scouts collected 430 pounds of canned food for their local food drive project Saturday. The food has been donated to the local Oakesdale Tree of Sharing. Those boys collecting the food were Tyler and Shawn Bober, Garrett Dingman, Gavin Shrope and Kameron Dewan.
