Steptoe High 1950 grads gather

Members of the Steptoe High School class of 1950 gathered for their 60-year reunion July 10. After breakfast at Rosauers in Colfax, some of the grads drove to the top of Steptoe Butte and recalled the time they actually climbed the butte. They later went to the Steptoe Grange hall for an afternoon reception. In front are Queenie Hulse Leinweber, Colfax and Willene O’Dell Merriman, Colorado Springs, Colo.
