Lamont duo attends 50th anniversary fete

Sunday afternoon, Allen and Diane Cook drove to Spokane Valley, to attend the 50th wedding anniversary fete for their long-time friends, Marvin and Barbara Ferguson. The Cooks and Fergusons all attended Cheney High School. Diane was the first baby sitter for three of the four Ferguson children.

Bonnie, Bill Swannack and Janet Bowman drove to Tonasket early Saturday morning to watch Tommie Sue take part in the first rodeo of the year. She entered barrel racing, goat tying, and break away roping. She placed first in the break- away roping and won a belt buckle.
