Crafts for Mother’s Day

Endicott

Kathy, Rachel and Stephanie Stambaugh look at an Endicott Library display of new books from the Will James Society gifting program.

Mother’s Day craft will be the main focus for Third Thursday Club April 15 at Endicott library.

Students in grades 1-5 are invited to express artistic skills to create a special card and bookmark to give to their mom for Mother’s Day.

Kids will have an opportunity to experiment with stamping supplies, glitters and paints. The program will begin at 3:20 p.m. and will end at 4:00 p.m.

Plant sharing day is planned for April 30 from 10:30 am to 2 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a plant along with information to share. Extra plants are available to those who want to participate.

Endicott library is open two additional hours Fridays for public access to public computers to help them develop job searching skills.

Extra hours are provided by the WORC grant project. Adults can schedule classes on basic computer skills, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing techniques, and on-line job searching. Contact the library for more information.
