RTOP will present ‘Enchanted April’

Regional Theatre of the Palouse will present Matthew Barber’s Tony Award-nominated “Enchanted April.” Feb. 11-13 and 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. at the RTOP Theatre, 122 N. Grand Ave. in Pullman. Matinees also will take place Feb. 13 and 20 at 2:30 p.m.

AnaSofia Villanueva will direct the play that tells the story of four wildly mismatched British women who head to an idyllic Northern Italian villa in an attempt to escape their dreary lives in cold and rain drenched London.

Villanueva came from Portland to direct the show. She works with Equity Theaters in Portland where she is involved in acting, directing and stage management. She grew up on the Palouse, having graduated from high school here.

“Enchanted April” features actors Hallie Harris, Sarah Kelley, Jane Lear, Joseph Monohon and Jim Sato of Pullman and Trish Gardner, Troy Sprenke and Michael Snyder of Moscow.
