Lamont Church plans Christmas program

Lamont Community Church will present their Christmas program Sunday at 10 a.m. There will be a skit by the Junior Church children and musical numbers. Everyone is invited to attend.

There is a community potluck on New Years Day beginning at 1 p.m. Television will be on for anyone who wants watch football games. All are urged to come and welcome in the new year.

Lamont Women’s Club members served lunch to the crew that keeps the Lamont Grain Growers elevators working.

Guests from the elevators were Art Boutain, Ron Dixon, Tom Pederson and manager, Jim Furhman.

Others attending were Sue Pederson, Bill and Tom Swannack, Mark Bowman and Don Nelson.

Serving the meal were Bonnie Swannack, Ginny Rajala, Julie McDaniels, Linda O’Keefe and Sherril Nelson.
