Book special from Library Friends

Friends of Whitman County Library have slashed the price of their newest cookbook, More Recipes From Our Friends. The cookbooks are on sale for $10 each with proceeds benefiting children's programs in 14 library branches throughout Whitman County.

The Friends cookbook contains 840 recipes gathered from residents across the Palouse region. Jerry McCollum, a local artist and photographer contributed the images for the cover, which include a photo of Steptoe Butte in the Springtime, framed by a separate wheat photograph.

Copies of the book are available from any branch of the Whitman County Library System, Rosauers or Main Street Books in Colfax. Cookbooks may be mailed directly for an additional $2 or may be purchased from the Colfax Library already wrapped for holiday gift giving.

Contact Peggy Bryan at the library for additional information.
