Davis duo will mark 50th

Jerald and Joyce Davis, residents of Colfax for 40 years, will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Colfax Golf Club Saturday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6 p.m.

Davis and Joyce Shoemaker, both graduates of Clarkston High School, were married Dec. 4, 1959, at the Church of Nativity in Lewiston.

Both are now retired.

He was a longtime manager of the Colfax Building Supply, and she was employed at the Gazette, Glasers and Hamilton Drug.

Saturday’s open house will be hosted by their three sons and spouses, Tim and Judi Davis, Albion; Randy Davis, Colfax; Jamey and Lisa Davis, Redmond; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
