Tekoa Cub Scouts distribute 14 food boxes

Tekoa Cub Scout Pack recently completed their annual gathering of food for families in need. Fourteen boxes were collected and distributed to local families. Members include Frankie Allen, Garrett Blomgren, Dillon Eaton, Carson Fuchs, AJ Harp, Dane Kittock, Zach McFarland, Craig Mueller and Jake Mueller.

Comforts of Home of Tekoa hosted their sixth chartered bus trip Oct. 3 - 4. Quilters and antiquers were treated to a tour of historic homes in Wallace and visited the ghost town of Burke, plus antique shopping in the downtown district of Wallace.

They visited a quilt show in Drummond, Mont., and stayed at the Broadway Hotel in Philipsburg and shopped there the next day. Continuing on to Deer Lodge they stopped at Quilters Corner and Territorial Antiques store, and then they had dinner in Missoula.

An overnight trip to the outdoor quilt show in Eureka, Mont., next August.
