Piper Cub flips near Airport: Keith Kopf, 63, Pullman, sustained minor injuries in a single-engine airplane accident shortly after noon Saturday near the Moscow-Pullman Airport. According to a report by Sheriff Brett Myers, Kopf was practicing touch-and-go landings with a 1964 Piper Super Cub which was fitted with landing gear for use on snowy fields or frozen terrain. One of the landing skids apparently dug into the field and caused the Super Cub to flip onto its top. Kopf was the lone person in the airplane. The sheriff said the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified of the accident.
