    Formal charges were filed Nov. 16 against two suspects who were arrested last week after an investigation of burglaries of buildings on Hume Road. Robert Lawson, 48, Garfield, faces eight charges including three counts of burglary in the second degree, unlawful possession of firearms and possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. The burglary charges allege he was involved in break-ins at the Hume Road site Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 with two buildings involved on one of those dates.     Auditions for Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, both male and female versions, will be Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Regional Theater of the Palouse, 122 N. Grand in Pullman.     Colfax Chamber of Commerce will again sponsor the annual Christmas parade and fireworks show next Thursday, Dec. 1, beginning at 6 p.m. on Mill Street which was recently remodeled with new paving and sidewalks.     Dusty Kathy Atwood of West Los Angeles, her son Kevin and daughter Lucy hosted a celebration of the life of their mother/grandmother, Kathleen Scholz, at the Country Bible Church Saturday afternoon. Approximately 40 people attended the event. Kathleen, who died July 30, asked that she be remembered with a party rather than a memorial service. She would have been 102 Saturday.     Colfax High School’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella wrapped up a run of six performances Wednesday for students and others before school dismissed for Thanksgiving Holiday.
