    The Colfax High School Class of 1974 held its 40th reunion on July 11-12. Classmates from other graduating years also joined in the activities. An ice breaker was held at the Hyde Out on July 11.     Whitman County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program needs volunteers. There are currently 10 CASA volunteers in the county and the organization needs to add five more, according to Jill Whelchel Wahl, program manager. CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to advocate for a child involved in the foster care system. “No special background is required to become a CASA Volunteer.
