    TEKOA — The city pool closed June 17 after a pipe in the pool broke during a private party manager and lifeguard Ava Rambo said. “People noticed the water level was going down. It’s an older part but we don’t know why it’s broken,” she said. Paul Gylling, 67, of Colfax, placed first in several events at the National Bench Rest Shooting Association Varmint for Score competition. The Greenway Trail is a proposed pedestrian and cyclist route that would stretch from the intersection of Main and Cooper streets to Eells Park, following the shaded western shore of the South Fork Palouse River.
