    Two of Colfax High School FCCLA members will attend the national meeting at Nashville in July. Kim Hinnenkamp, newly elected state vice-president of Region 9, will attend to receive leadership training. She will be part of a 16 member officer group in charge of organizing meetings for the Washington state delegation which numbers 170.     The primary classes at Garfield Elementary topped the annual library penny drive by raising $186.86 in April. Mrs. Kern’s class was the biggest donor and will get a cupcake and ice cream party. Donations from the school and branch totaled $193.50. Garfield Library has received $400 in children’s books as a part of a 2 to 1 matching grant from the Libri Foundation.     Dusty A women’s book club from Seattle spent Monday through Wednesday last week at the Parsonage Bed and Breakfast here. While in the area, they toured Colfax, Palouse and Pullman.     Colfax City Council Monday night voted 7-0 to approve an update of the city’s critical areas ordinance. The ordinance draft, which had been the subject of extended discussion in past city sessions, was approved without comment from the public after the formal hearing process.
