    Gerald Walli Slind died April 12, 2021, of a combination of respiratory and cardiovascular issues. Gerald was born November 1, 1936, near LaCrosse, Washington. He was the second of five children born to Gilbert and Magna (Walli) Slind, which included three other sons, Oris, Alan, and Marvin, and a daughter, Irene Ann. Gerald grew up in a Norwegian-American community centered around Selbu Lutheran Church, which was only a few miles from his family's farm outside of LaCrosse, Wash. He was baptized... Full story

The oldest of six, Angie was born July 7, 1922, to Sylvester and Anna Heitstuman of Uniontown, Wash.
