    Eight members of the Colfax Bullpups wrestling team placed at Saturday’s Bi State Junior High tournament which was hosted by Colfax on three mats in the CHS gym. Eight teams representing the Bi State League are Colfax, Potlatch, Pomeroy, Pullman, Moscow, Sacajawea and Jenifer of Lewiston and Clarkston Middle School. Bullpups winning championships were Gabriel Higginson, Mitch Barney and Brian DeYoung.     Reardan's girls, the undefeated power in the Bi-County race this season, booked a 65-57 win over Brewster Saturday to defend their title in the 2B girls race. The Indians had to climb back in the second half of the title game to top the Bears. The title win wraps Reardans's season at 27-0, a record that included a sweep of the Bi-County race and playoffs.     Long-term care facilities in Colfax, Pullman and Tekoa currently have no advocates protecting the rights of residents. The Eastern Washington Long-Term Care Ombudsman program hopes to fix that by recruiting qualified volunteers who can cover these facilities. Volunteers commit four hours each week to residents of designated long-term care facilities.     An examination to determine competency for trial for Mark Ashworth, 51, was ordered Feb. 29 in Whitman County Superior court. Ashworth, who was arrested in Colfax Jan. 27, now faces seven charges. He has remained in jail after bond for his pre-trial release was set at $250,000.
