    Whitman County Public Works closed the Albion-Parvin Road Tuesday between Albion and Shawnee Road where the South Fork of the Palouse River has washed out the road. The washout occurred late last week, and the county closed one lane at the site about a mile north of Albion. On Tuesday at 11 a.m., the other lane was closed to through-traffic. For the Windy Eagle, LLC, land 1.5 miles outside Pullman on Pullman Airport Road, 20 acres of agricultural land was re-zoned to cluster residential. The change will allow it to be divided into five-acre parcels.
