Fair Manager
Fair Manager *NEW SALARY*: This position provides administration, leadership and direction for the annual Fair and County’s fairgrounds. This is an onsite (offices in Colfax and fairgrounds) working manager position which promotes and encourages professional conduct, utilizing best practices, and appropriate management standards. It promotes onsite events; manages grants and projects; supervises department employees; manages budget; coordinates fund raising and works with the Fair Board. STARTING SALARY: $ 5457 per month Full Salary Range: $5457 - $6522 Open until filled. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five years Administration and/or delivery of services in the community; a high school diploma or GED; ability to obtain First Aid/C.P.R./A.E.D. certification; and a Washington State Food Workers Card. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is desirable. Full time benefits include: County contribution of $1270 per month towards medical, dental, vision, life insurance * HRA/VEBA and H.S.A. * Washington State Department of Retirement Services 401a * Voluntary benefits such as; additional retirement plan option, long and short-term disability coverage, AFLAC, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and voluntary term life insurance * Twelve paid holidays annually * Vacation and Sick leave accrue at 8 hours per month.
