PINE CITY - The annual Christmas in the Stone Church will not take place this year due to the Babb Fire that destroyed the historic structure Sept. 7. Pine City lost a number of historic homes as well as the Stone Church. The building was built in 1902 by A.J. Smith and was the Smith Mercantile Store.
