Josh Straughan ranks in SIAC

Former Colton quarterback Josh Straughan continues to shine for Stillman College, an NCAA Division II school in Tucaloosa, Ala. A member of the 2012 class at Colton, Straughan was named the starting quarterback for Stillman after he led a comeback win when he was subsituted in the first game of the season. He then led a 37-12 win over Clark Atlanta University, completing 23 of 36 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns.

On the 2012 season, Straughan has completed 180 passes for 1,601 yards and several touchdowns. In the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, he now ranks first in number of pass completions, third in total yards passing, third in total passing touchdowns and fourth in passing yards per game with one more game left on the regular schedule.
