Webber performs at FFA nationals

Lindsay Webber, one of eight FFA students from Colfax High who attended the national convention in Indianapolis, sings on the main stage at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in front of 15,000 people at the second session last Thursday.

Lindsay sang “Defying Gravity” from the Broadway musical Wicked.

In addition to singing on the main stage, Lindsay also sang several other songs on various stages and at a special awards dinner.

She was among 35 performers selected from hundreds of applicants to perform at the sessions.

Only eight performed at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse main stage.

A senior at CHS, she is the daughter of Jon and Angie Webber.

Other delegates attending with Advisor Brian Long were Hannah Knaack, Jacee Thompson, Brian Scholz, Christopher Appel, Bryce Kramlich, Roy Cochran and Chad Aeschliman.
