Stevens will show photos of Palouse

Otto O. Stevens will present his photos of the Palouse area, a collection called “South from Spokane,” at the Colfax Library Monday, Jan. 7, at noon. The 30-minute presentation features a slideshow of beautiful digital images along with live narration. Attendees can bring a sack lunch or just come to watch.

Among the photo subjects are Channeled Scablands, Palouse farms, Palouse Falls and Canyon, and historical structures including pioneer churches, one-room schoolhouses, barns, and homesteads. All were done in the spring of 2012. Stevens uses his retirement time to lead photography tours and to share his work with others.
